Bust A Nut : Make A Move II

In the summers of 2018 and 2019 BUST A NUT transformed the small concrete cube Plattenvereinigung at the former airport field of Tempelhof in Berlin into a queer clubhouse. The installations were accompanied by an outdoor rave and ensuing the exhibitions three zines are published. This second 'Bust A Nut' happened at Mayday 2019. The exhibition combined works about wrestling in the 70ies and 80ies by the late Suisse photographer Karlheinz Weinberger and pictures from Kirchners series 'Pehlivan' about turkish oil-wrestlers. Set up on the 1st of May 2019 when Berlin celebrated Tanz in den Mai, the opening of the summer and outdoor season, MAKE A MOVE was an invitation to get out of your house come together and dance.
