This document is an updated compilation of a series of resources developed by GLEN (Gay and Lesbian Equality Network), the Department of Education and Skills and the education partners to assist schools in addressing homophobic bullying and supporting lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) students. The updated content in this edition includes a section addressing the specific support needs of students who identify as transgender. The assistance of the nongovernmental organisation, Transgender Equality Network Ireland (TENI), was sought to ensure that the information presented is both practical and respectful to the needs of young people who are transgender. The updated content was circulated to all
