The toolkit provides a framework for the delivery of training for government officials, frontline service providers and members of the general public within the Commonwealth. It provides the necessary information and tools to facilitate a training or sensitisation session on gender and sexual diversity, foundational human rights knowledge, as well as on the challenges faced by members of the local lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer and intersex community. The toolkit addresses a range of different areas. Each section of the toolkit can be used as a stand-alone tool for sensitisation that may be utilised by the trainers trained under its framework. In this way, each section can be deployed strategically according to the needs identified within a given ministry, department or agency.
