SOGIESC Opportunities in the 38th Human Rights Council Session (18 June - 6 July 2018)

This report contains weekly updates on SOGIESC issues mentioned in the reports which is presented during the 38TH Human Rights Council Session in Geneva. The objective of this report is to identify opportunities for engagement or participation at the Human Rights Council. The sessions consider issues including sexual orientation and gender identiy, freedom of association, assembly, expression and women's rights. It will also present an opportunity to address grave human rights situations in States including Burundi, Syria, Democratic Republic of Congo, Eritrea and Belarus among many others.
