Plano nacional de enfrentamento da epidemia de Aids e das DST entre gays HSH e travestis / [apres.: Ministério da Saúde]

In this document the Brazilian Ministry of Health´s expresses her commitment to making effective the directives established in the "Brazil Without Homophobia Programme", launched end 2013. The Plan will be open to public consultation from June 28th to July 28th 2007. The implantation and implementation of the actions proposed for gay men, msm and transvestites will contribute towards improving both the reception and the response to the AIDS epidemic among these groups, within the context of the National Health system, as well as other sectors responsible for carrying out the Brazil Without Homophobia Programme. It is proposed that the goals will be met between 2007 and 2011. Actions include those relating to increasing access to prevention materials; the development of new technologies; strategies for combatting stigma and discrimination; the strengthening of inter-institutional partnerships and the production of knowledge.
