Evidence on sexual rights in relation to reproductive and maternal health input into DFID's reproductive and maternal health strategy / Susie Jolly
S. Jolly
After starting with a definition of sexual rights from the WHO this paper outlines how denial of these rights can impact on reproductive and maternal health (RMH). The issues here considered are for women and men in general, LGBT people, people living with HIV/AIDS (PLHA) and sex workers. Examples of and recommendations for "what works" are included. The paper focused on the areas and groups which seem to be under-emphasised in the DFID paper.
