Bisexuality, quality of life, lifestyle, and health indicators
S. Horowitz, D. Weis, M. Laflin
This study compared male (M) and female (F) homosexual (HOM) and heterosexual (HET) sexual orientation behavior (SORB) groups to bisexuals (BI) on demographic, social background, quality of life, lifestyle, and health variables in a series of seven national probability samples between the years 1988 and 1996. Sexual orientation was assessed behaviorally for two time periods by using respondents_ report of the gender of their sexual partners since they were age 18 and in the last 12 months. Data for 11,536 interviews were collected by the National Opinion Research Center. Differences among SORB groups were minimal.[Copies are available from: Haworth Document Delivery Center.
