What are older gay men like? : an impossible question?

Although the authors recognize that the question "What are older gay men like?" is impossible to answer conclusively, they endeavor to provide a better understanding of older gay men by making comparisons to the general older male population. The authors dispel a number of myths about older gay men and suggest that they adjust to the stigma of aging and achieve independence more easily than their straight counterparts.<Copies are available from: Haworth Document Delivery Center.
