The essay also examines what a cultural worker is, the ways we value our own labor, the importance of putting our resources into our communities, how we can sustain activism over time, and how we are inspired and inspire others to change the world. Michelle Cliff's conceptualization of the application of thesis + antithesis = synthesis is used as a framework.
