Afrikaans book Die-Hemel-Help-Ons by Koos Prinsloo was supposed to win the Rapport Prize for Literature, but P.W. Botha phoned Rapport and said the prize will not be given because of a derogatory remark made about Botha in book. Prinsloo went to court and an out of court settlement made.
