This paper delves into empirical data and studies on tolerance and homophobia in the Netherlands. This study was done with Dutch students between the ages of 16 and 20. Findings show that although there exsists a reltaveiely tolerant attitude towards homosexuality in the Netherlands, there are still many arenas of a person's life where homosexuality is not tolerated.
