Gay, lesbian, bisexual clients may be negatively impacted by the presencein psychotherapy of pervasive cultural biases against homosexuality and bisexuality. The purpose of this study was to develop a valid and reliable instrument to measure gay, lesbian, and bisexual clients' perceptions of heterosexual bias in psychotherapy. A secondary purpose was to investigate differences in the perception of heterosexual bias when client therapist, and treatment variables varied.
