Roodsaz investigates how sexuality is constructed among Iranian Dutch and how this relates to their collective identity. The ideas, convictions and dialogues of Iranian Dutch regarding the issues of homosexuality, virginity and non-marital cohabitation is analyzed using the qualitative methods of in-depth interviewing, participant observation, text analyses and focus group discussions.
