Carlo Coccioli
Fabrizio Lupo, a young Italian painter, and Laurent Rigault, a French sculptor, are outlawed both by the Church and by the society because of their homosexual love. Meeting in Paris, where Fabrizio has come for an exhibition of his work, they are immediately aware of a magnetic attraction for each other and are swept together into a turbulent affair, which continues after Fabrizio returns to Italy and pursues Laurent with passionate letters.
