Jeff Southern, a.k.a. Boots on account of his corrective footwear, is 14 years old, six foot tall and growing. Boots has been simmering for a long time. He´s been living with lying and cheating and stealing for so long that when he discovers sex that seems the natural way to deal with it. He´s been living with hate so long that when he discovers love it´s too late. It gets him so confused he doesn´t know what the hell´s going on. Eddie knows what´s going on. Eddie has ways of dealing with everything. Boots wants to be just like Eddie.
