All the sexes : a study of masculinity and femininity

George W. Henry, David E. Roberts

George Henry presents in this book "general statements, based on observations of more than eight thousand men and one thousand women" concerning sex variants in the present society. The book is divided into five parts. The first part, includes a discussion of three cases, and the contributing factors observed in the group of sex variants. The second part relates to the personality development and traces the family and personal history. The third section discusses the social problems related to, caused by, or resulting from the adjustment pattern. Part IV discusses the aspects of the law involved, and the problem of rehabilitation. In the fifth part he reviews sexual problems of other cultures, discusses possible steps in prevention, gives some statistical observations, and concludes with his general impressions based upon his extensive study of the problem.
