Divine response to anti-semitism

Emiel de Boer

Only few peoples have suffered so much from discrimination and persecution as the Jewish people. In Roman times, after three failed uprisings against Rome, the Jewish people were scattered throughout the Roman Empire and in later times throughout the world. The scattering throughout the world took place in the manner prophesied by Moses. He also correctly prophesied the discrimination and persecutions that would continue to haunt the Jewish people. But God also showed Moses the return of the Jews to Israel. Moses' prophecies therefore form the backbone of this book for chaptering. One might wrongly conclude that God has abandoned the Jews to their fate over the last two millennia. But nothing is less true. This book uses Biblical texts and verifiable historical events to demonstrate that God was always near and saved His people, even at the most difficult times such as during the Shoah. However, free human will, coincidence/chance, but also the influence of the forces of evil have consequences for what God can perform. This book describes past, present and a possible future because even in the present time the Jews are still not safe. This book is written from a Christian perspective.
